End-of-the-Year Shenanigans

Almost every culture has end-of-the-year shenanigans in the form of either celebrating a religious holiday, huddling in a warm (or cool if you live south of the equator) homes with your loved ones, or filling yourself silly be eating your favorite foods.

We (Marlee and I) decided this year to stay home and do the last option, most notably. When we’re not eating, we hitting the town. In other events, we attended the Fox Theater to see the Broadway version of Anastasia. Gert show, really. It’s a mingle between the famous animated film and historical events surrounding the multi-country event of trying to find the lost princess. The music was grand beautifully done. But it still put me to sleep.

Then, out in the lobby, one of the concierges asked if Marlee and I would would like to have our pictures taken and of course we did. Look at us! We were dressed to be stared at. But I digress.

That’s one of the things we’ve done for our end-of-the-year shenanigans.

I would love to hear from you and what you’re planning on doing!

There will, of course be stocking emptying. There’s going to be gift giving. Phone calls will be made to people we haven’t talked to in months. Nostalgia will be at an all-time high! But that’s normal.

Hope you all have a great set of end-of-the-year shenanigans. I’ll see you guys from the other side.
