NaNoWriMo Prep

That’s right, I focused on my NaNoWriMo prep. Halloween is just around the corner, and as I reflect on the past month, I realize I fell short of a personal creative challenge. You see, I set a goal for myself: to create one “spooky or weird” TikTok video every day in the lead-up to Halloween. The idea was to share a daily dose of the eerie and uncanny with my followers, getting everyone into the Halloween spirit.

However, life has a way of throwing curveballs, and my ambitious TikTok plan faced a few setbacks. Some days, I was simply too busy with other creative pursuits, while on others, inspiration didn’t strike as I’d hoped. As a result, my TikTok challenge went off the rails pretty quickly.

But here’s the thing: I didn’t let this discourage me. Instead, I channeled my creative energy into other projects. First and foremost, I delved into the exciting world of NaNoWriMo, crafting the initial draft of my new novel. It’s a thrilling adventure, full of twists and turns, and I can’t wait to share it with you all.

I also took this time to hone my photography skills. I explored new techniques, experimented with different lighting setups, and captured the beauty of the changing season. The result? A collection of visually stunning photographs that I’m incredibly proud of.

Before I wrap up this Halloween reflection, there’s one more thing I’d like to share. I recently released a new book titled ‘DinQ: D&D in the Coffin Hold of the USS Enterprise.‘ It’s a unique and gripping blend of two worlds, and you can find it on Amazon and Nook. If you’re a fan of thrilling adventures and imaginative storytelling, this is a must-read.

So, as Halloween approaches, I may not have met my TikTok challenge, but I’ve certainly channeled my creative energy into other exciting endeavors. Stay tuned for more updates on my writing and photography adventures. And don’t forget to check out my new book – it’s the perfect companion for those cozy autumn nights.

Remember, creativity knows no bounds, and sometimes, the best ideas come from unexpected detours. Wishing you all a spooktacular Halloween and smooth NaNoWriMo prep!
